Artist and (fashion) designer Bas Kosters creates worlds inhabited by radiant, disturbing and endearing figures who reflect his social engagement. In 2011, he developed two designs in the TextielLab: a hat and a balaclava. After some experimentation, the designs were programmed and knitted on the flat knitting machine.
