What kind of home do I want to come back to? This was the question at the heart of a collection of interior textiles by Design Academy graduate Debby Yu, who was selected in 2013 to develop her graduation collection in the TextielLab. The textiles are designed to reflect the function of different areas of the house. In the tapered carpet connecting the bathroom and bedroom, for instance, the materials change over the length of the textile: from flat-woven waterproof rubber yarns at the start to soft, deep looped wool at the end.
