Artist Anke Loh's collection of knits revolves around women's stories – their opportunities, challenges, delights and fears. Each piece combines bold yet delicate textures and patterns, evoking women who break free from expectation and tradition; courageous yet fragile.
The concept collection is the result of Loh's ongoing research on the female form and its important place in culture, art and history. The colour combinations and selected yarns mix lengths, weights, textures, synthetic and natural fibres, matte and glossy, intended to enhance the infinite possibilities of the female form. Loh developed the pieces during a residency at the TextielLab.
