Project

Together with designer Simone Post, Studio Truly Truly visited Jongeriuslab’s design studio in Berlin, where Hella Jongerius helped them to further develop their concepts for the label. Jongerius' work is characterised by the unusual way in which she combines industrial and artisanal, high and low tech, and traditional and contemporary. To create the variety of textures in the throw, the designers converted hand-knitting techniques into new stitches suitable for the TextielLab’s computer-controlled knitting machine.
