2016 research sample
Materials woolmix

In this simple experiment, a shape was created by knitting shortened rows on the knitting machine. Normally, the machine knits full rows from left to right, but in this case, short pieces were knitted on one side while many more rows were added on the other side. Shortened rows were also knitted at the collar, creating visible texture in the fabric. The pieces in this sample are triangular, but if knitted further, they would eventually form a circle.
