From designing the furniture and interior of SOPs (sex on premises) venues to visualising the sexual reproduction of hermaphroditic snails, Jon Ho is an interdisciplinary designer and artist whose work is preoccupied with the development of contemporary sexuality and fetish cultures. He works both commercially and autonomously and often combines traditional and modern production techniques. His 'Fetishising Masculinity' project aims to disseminate the different visual codes of masculinity in a graphic, wearable sculpture. The work was made in 2017 and produced on the TextielLab’s flatbed knitting machine.
